You can run the Buffalo Marathon route in just two hours!
On Saturday, May 23 at 3:00 pm, You can scout the route for the next day’s marathon aboard the fabulous Open-Air Autobus, getting landmark commentary the whole 26.2 miles. It is a great way to familiarize yourself with the city, the quirks of the route, and have fun riding around in a giant convertible!
The Open-Air Autobus, operated by the Campaign for Greater Buffalo, is going dormant to let Buffalo's winter do its thing only to emerge with a vengeance on the streets and neighborhoods of the city and beyond next May!
Our 2015 tour schedule will be posted by mid May. It will include our trusted and true standbys, such as the Buffalo Whirlwind. There will also be a few new and exciting tours for fellow Buffalonians and vistors to enjoy!

Massive Italianate, Second Empire, Victorian Gothic, Queen Anne, and Shingle-Style houses were a kind of urban Downton Abbey. All was not decourous, however: Mabel Dodge Luhan, who, after trailblazing and swath-cutting life on two continents, wrote a famous memoir that dished the dirt on her youthful Buffalo neighbors.
